I absolutely love engagement sessions. They are a great time for wedding couples to get comfortable in front of the camera before their wedding day. They get a set of photos to display at the wedding or use for a wedding guest sign in book or for save the date cards. As an engagement photographer in NJ I know of many locations where we can shoot. One of my favorites is at Batsto Village in Hammonton, NJ. It's a great location with a wooded area, gravel paths, old farm houses with barn wood and stone and at sunset the view over the lake is breathtaking. Beth and Kevin came to their session in Beth's Uncle's antique car which made for some fun photos that they plan to use for their save the date cards. They didn't need much instruction in front of the camera, they simply enjoyed snuggling with each other. Since it was an extremely cold winter night right before sunset, we incorporated a fuzzy blanket which color wise went really well with the golden light behind them. I love NJ engagement sessions and will continue to preach their importance to my clients. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and have a fun night out!
