Allison is worth every penny! She helps you to plan ahead so your day goes smoothly and is there for any questions you have. She has multiple packages to choose from so that you can cater to your wedding and price range. Our pictures came out fantastic and we are so excited to have these pictures to cherish forever. The Best. Day. Ever. We couldn't imagine having anyone but Allison capture our wedding day. We clicked with Allison during our engagement photo session last October and we couldn't wait to work with her on our special day. She answered all of our questions leading up to it and even provided tips and tricks for the things we might not have known or thought about. She got to know us before the wedding through meetings, texts and phone calls and she feels like more of a friend now than a vendor for our wedding! Her energy is contagious and we were able to be ourselves for the photos. When we were looking for wedding photographers, Allison was an easy choice because we liked every photo she took. When we talked to her over the phone, she was bright, friendly, and energetic - just the sort of vibe we wanted for our wedding day. Allison accommodated us for engagement photos, meeting us at our favorite park and working with my crazy call schedule. On our wedding day, Allison was awesome - she efficiently took all the photos we wanted, and had a list of group photos to make sure we didn't miss any. Allison is simply the best! From day one, she responded to emails and phone calls quickly. She was attentive to details and made both our engagement photos and wedding photos comfortable, especially since my husband and I are awkward in front of the camera. She recommended some areas for engagement pictures that fit the common theme of our relationship (shore points) and we even were able to incorporate it into our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, she would check in often and offer to help with anything we needed! She made sure she addressed every possible detail and question we had and check that all the little things we wanted captured were there. Kelly was the photographer with my husband and his party for the day and they all expressed how easy she made their day/time getting ready. They truly had a blast with her! Allison was outstanding as our wedding photographer! Right away we knew it would be a great fit. She was so responsive to emails, super personable when we had a FaceTime meeting, and had such beautiful photos in her portfolio. We took engagement photos with her that came out wonderful. They helped us get to know Allison and get more comfortable in front of the camera! We live in PA and she was more than happy to travel to one of our favorite spots, longwood gardens, to take the engagement photos. On our wedding day she was organized, professional, and fun! Allison was an amazing photographer for our October wedding. I have only seen a preview of the pictures so far and they are amazing. She made us feel comfortable and gave us some instruction to help us get natural photos. Her second photographer was amazing as well. We also requested sunset pictures and she even went into the freezing ocean to get a shot with the water, us, and the sunset. I cannot say enough good things about Allison! From our engagement photos to our wedding day she was absolutely amazing. Allison made sure we were informed and organized from the second we booked her. Her and her partner Kelly were so amazing on our wedding day. They were so much fun but still professional. Every time I turned around they were snapping photos throughout the entire night. Unfortunately, another one of my vendors arrived late which cut our cocktail hour/photo time in half. From the minute I spoke with Allison when researching photographers, I knew she would be the person I would want hanging out with my husband and I during our big day. Allison is extremely talented and just an all-around wonderful person. We met with Allison for an engagement shoot earlier this year and I knew I had made the right decision. Allison makes you feel really comfortable during photo shoots and has the uncanny ability to capture the essence of you and your significant other as a couple. Allison is extremely organized and made sure to get all the important information in terms of what shots we considered our must-haves and executed on those requests the day of the wedding in the most unobtrusive manner. I shared the sneak peek on Facebook and people cannot stop commenting on how absolutely beautiful the pictures are. Not only is Allison incredibly talented at capturing the most beautiful moments, she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease which was critical for a couple like me and my husband considering we have zero comfort in front of the camera and are terrible with showing public affection (downright cringe-worthy). She helped us come up with our timeline which was great because we were totally clueless, and she made sure we were on time for everything, but was still flexible and was willing to go with the flow based on what was happening. Allison was an absolute rockstar!!! The personal care and attention to detail she provides is almost indescribable. I found Allison online (which is how I found my husband). I liked her Insta feed, because it showed a variety of both indoor and outdoor images, whereas some Insta feeds only showed outdoor shots with natural light. But since the reception was inside, I was very interested in the indoor shots. Allison nailed it. Here are some reasons we were delighted by her: 1) She made sure we got the perfect confetti shot we wanted. AND she emailed us links to the confetti store to help us out beforehand. 2) She arranged ALL the logistics. Our wedding day was stress free. She made it really fun. She got the golf cart to the beach... she even handed us water when we didn't think to bring any. And her assistant even dusted the sand off my feet after the beach shots. I mean... C'mon! 3) She came in and just made it happen. While I got my makeup done, Allison just took charge, capturing the dress and every detail. Perfection. 4) She captured authentic moments. Yes, we got the posed photos we all need, but with Allison, you barely even saw her. She shot from the sidelines but got close-ups, so every smile and laugh she captured was authentic. 5) She stayed til the bitter end. And she captured the magic of the final moments of the reception. 6) Getting the photos back was really, really easy. She was a little ahead of schedule and even sent us some sneak peaks well in advance. 7) It was like having a friend there. When my maid of honor cried, Allison shed a tear too! There were so many reasons we selected Allison to work with! She is incredibly organized and so with larger families it made family photos after the ceremony a piece of cake to get done. She made sure that any type of photo we wanted - she got. She was awesome to work with for the engagement session as well - she makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera (especially when you feel really awkward). She also has a lot of great pose ideas which was perfect for us as we didn't have many ideas of our own. On the day of the wedding she followed her timeline that she had provided exactly and we were running right on time and still getting all the photos we wanted and more! Her assistant, Olga, was great with the guys getting ready and their shots as well. We cannot wait to see the rest of our photos because the previews we got were stunning. Choosing Allison to photograph your big day is one the of best wedding decisions you will make! From my very first email exchange with Allison I knew I had to have her as my photographer. She responded to my original inquiry and every email after so quickly and professionally, I always felt like a priority and like she was as excited for my wedding as I was! Leading up to the day Allison was extremely organized and sent me a detailed timeline of the day so that I didn't have to worry about any detail, which is SO important on the day of when you have a million things deal with. On the actual day Allison showed up promptly on time (even a little early) and managed the whole timeline from when she got there to when she left. And most importantly it is like having an old friend at your wedding, she is so sweet and fun! During the ceremony and the reception I barely even noticed that Allison was there, she was very discreet yet didn't miss a single moment. Our final pictures were beyond breathtaking!! Allison posted a preview blog three days after the wedding so we could have pictures right away to share and we received our entire gallery within 6 weeks. Everyone I have shared the pictures with say they are some of the best wedding photos they have ever seen and I could not be happier with them - the hardest part was narrowing it down to only 200 for my album! From our first initial call to after the wedding, she answered all my questions and made me not worry about anything. I don’t even know where to begin. Working with Allison throughout our wedding journey was an absolute pleasure. She’s incredibly organized, energetic, ready to do whatever it takes to get the shot, comforting, and responsive. We were married a week ago and after two days she released a sneak peek album for us. The emotion that she captured was truly incredible. Every time I look at the photos I’m all teared up again remembering every moment of our magical day. What’s even more notable is that’s the same reaction anyone I’ve showed the photos to has had as well. The hug between my husband and my father at our ceremony, us celebrating during our introduction, the excitement and love she documented in each shot, the fun moments she captured on the dance floor. She gave us images to relive our magical day forever. We were married on a crowded beach over Labor Day weekend and you wouldn’t know there was another soul on the beach from Allison’s shots. She knows her angles and background. She scoped out everything ahead of time and set us up for family portraits, wedding party photos, etc. without hesitation in the most beautiful backdrops. She also managed to get all our formality shots taken care of even before the ceremony started so we could enjoy our cocktail hour as we requested. Allison is one of the most organized people I’ve ever met. Throughout our planning process I always felt 100% confident with her. She responded to every email or question I had within minutes. If I was looking for a vendor recommendation, timing suggestions, or which photo I should pick for my save the dates she gave insightful responses almost immediately. It was evident she knew the wedding business and she really cared about us having the best possible experience. All Allison required from us was a simple form be completed and she created a photo schedule and made the day flow beautifully. She partnered with our videographer so well you would have thought they worked together for years and not just met that morning. Our wedding guests also commented on how she was always in the right spot to capture a moment, but they never felt she was in the way of them dancing or enjoying the party, as sometimes wedding photographers will do. Words can’t even describe how great Allison and Kelly were on my wedding day! They both have great personalities and sense of humor that made the entire day the best day ever. Allison was extremely organized as she plans out a timeline months before your wedding. She then sends a specific timeline that includes who will be needed for photos which made it super easy to send to family, friends and the wedding party so everyone was aware what time they were needed. For only meeting Allison in person twice before the big day, I felt like I knew her years! Taking photos with her was not awkward at all. In fact, we all had a lot of fun with her! We just got some of our sneak peak photos back, and they are amazing! I found Allison through a list of vendors on The Knot and I couldn't be happier with our decision to choose her to photograph our wedding. Leading up to the wedding, she was attentive and easy to reach with any questions or concerns we had. On our wedding day, Allison and her partner Olga were outstanding. They were so organized and kept everyone moving so that we could get through our whole shot list even quicker than anticipated and still make it to our cocktail hour which was something that was important to us! Yet she still somehow took her time and made sure everyone was comfortable with the shots. It was so helpful that she made it a point to know the names of all of our parents and grandparents to keep things moving and it made my family members feel included in the process. I also assumed doing our bride/groom portraits would be awkward, but she and Olga made us feel comfortable and at ease. She made sure to get all the shots we wanted while offering her advice for the things we weren't sure about. She even offered to do our "engagement shots" after the wedding since my husband and I got caught up with work and couldn't schedule them in advance! Allison is AMAZING! There is no other photographer that I would recommend for your wedding day or any other special event. During our wedding planning process, Allison was extremely detailed oriented, organized, attentive, and prompt, which was very important as she helped to keep us on task as we planned our wedding on our own. On the wedding day, Allison and Kim were there for all of our needs - photography and anything else that came up (there with a needle & thread, safety pins, etc. for any last minutes fixes). In addition, Allison and Kim were sooo much fun to work with! They were even willing to stay an extra couple minutes after their scheduled time to leave to capture the Second Line that was done at our reception. I couldn't be happier that I chose Allison to photograph our wedding! From the very beginning she was a pleasure to work with. Allison was recommended by my brother-in-law and I had seen her work, so I already had a good feeling about everything. After meeting with her, my husband and I felt a good connection and loved her photos and her style. Allison took our engagement photos at Grounds for Sculpture, where my husband and I got engaged and they were fantastic! Allison was fun and made us feel at ease with the camera and the pictures were beautiful! Prior to our wedding, Allison sent me a very thorough wedding day information sheet to fill out that covered absolutely every detail about our wedding and covered the timeline of the day. In addition, she made a spreadsheet with all the posed family and bridal party photos we wanted. Prior to the wedding she called me to go over everything and I felt very confident about how the day would go. Allison and her assistant Kelly did an awesome job staying on schedule the day of the wedding. They also did a great job capturing everything--they were on the dance floor and their energy level never seemed to fade! Allison sent me a sneak peak of about 25 photos less than a week after our wedding and they were absolutely amazing! I couldn't believe how Allison captured our emotions on that day. Allison was such a pleasure to work with! My friend recommended Allison to me after her wedding and I could not be more happy with my decision for Allison to capture my special moments on my wedding day. She was professional from the start and very detailed. When I was searching for photographers, some would not meet in person, which I did not feel comfortable with. It was such a pleasure to work with Allison. She did our engagement photos (which came out beautifully) and then did our wedding a few weeks ago. We had a pretty large (215 guest) wedding. A second photographer went to my husband's house, and Allison came to mine. She is professional, always responds in a timely manner, is very organized, and she was on top of everything on my wedding day. She had a spreadsheet with a shot list and a schedule for the whole day. She didn’t miss anything. She is also very personable, thoughtful, and a pleasure to hang out with. Book Allison right now! She is the absolute best person to have with you on your wedding day. Allison photographed our wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club in August. She is so sweet, she kept everyone on schedule and the pictures are amazing! Allison McCarthy is wonderful! I wanted to do a boudoir photo shot as a wedding gift for my husband and I am SO glad that I chose Allison. I had never done anything like this before so I was nervous and I did a TON of research. After a lot of Google searches and reading review after review I decided to go with Allison. Her rate is very reasonable and after emailing back and forth I felt like she was someone I could work with and I am so glad that I decided to go with her. She lives two hours away from me, but it was completely worth the drive. From the minute I got to her house, she made me feel completely comfortable. She has a very professional and beautiful studio in her home, which was important to me because I couldn’t do it at my house and keep it a surprise and I didn’t want to pay for a hotel room. Her studio is perfect! As soon as I arrived, she had someone do my hair and make up and it turned out beautiful! After that, we began the shoot. I couldn’t believe how relaxed I felt. She told me exactly what to do. It was fun!! The whole thing from the time I arrived only took about two hours. When I first saw the photos, I couldn’t believe it was me! I had no idea I was capable of taking such great photos… and it’s all thanks to Allison! After I selected the photos I wanted, she mailed them to me in a beautiful book. I have been raving about her to all of my friends. For anyone who has never done boudoir photos before (or even if you have) I highly recommend Allison! My husband and I got married less than a week ago and I just couldn't wait any longer to write a review about Allison. Let us start from the beginning. We discovered Allison through a Google Search. We knew we were getting married at the Jersey Shore and we wanted to hire a local photographer. After reviewing websites of dozens of local photographers, it was quick for us to realize that we liked Allison's photography the best. So first, we hired her for an engagement photo session. The engagement session could not have gone any better. Allison picked the most BEAUTIFUL location for our photos (Barnagat Lighthouse). She was easy to work with as the entire two hour session ended up being so much fun. As if I wasn't pleased enough with how fun the two hours were, the very next morning she emailed me a sneak-peak of about 20 of the photos she took! I knew at that exact moment that Allison was the photographer we wanted to hire for our wedding. Not only was she incredibly talented, but she was also immensely respectful to her clients. We got the entire album of our photos only a week after the session. After spending two hours getting your picture taken, all you want to do is see the final result. Allison recognizes that and strives to get your final, edited photos to you as quickly as possible, which meant a lot to me. So then we hired Allison as our wedding photographer and again, I could not be more pleased with this decision. I am a very organized individual and am a very forward thinker, but Allison (unlike any of my other wedding vendors) was ALWAYS one step or thought ahead of me. She showed us a sample guest book filled with our engagement photos before we were even thinking about guest books (which we decided to buy and use!). She asked me to fill out a wedding day questionnaire before I even knew all of the answers to the questions. She is very thoughtful with her work and it shows in her approach to customer service. Then came wedding day and again it was just perfect. Allison showed up an hour early, which meant she just had an opportunity to take additional photos (something no bride would ever complain about). She ensured I got ever photo on my wish list taken. More importantly, Allison has such a friendly demeanor, she felt more like a wedding guest than a wedding vendor! Then, like with the engagement photos, she posted a sneak peak of our wedding only five days later. I am already so impressed with her work and I am even more impressed with her customer service. I cannot wait to see our finished wedding album but I know from past experience with Allison that it is going to be perfect. Allison was absolutely amazing. Her work is truly outstanding. She was professional, detailed, personable, and extremely organized. We couldn't imagine our day with anyone but Allison capturing it. Between helping us throughout the planning process, creating a timeline and giving advice on just about anything and everything, she was so much more than a photographer. She was always willing to help and quickly answered any questions we had. We were originally unsure whether we wanted to do our first look photos at the beach. Allison and her assistant Kelly had stopped on their way to our wedding to check out how the beach was that day for us. She told us that it was a perfect day for beach photos. She even found a perfect spot for us. Thank god she did this, because those beach photos are my absolute favorite, they turned out amazing and better than I ever could have imagined. She made us feel so comfortable and all of the photos felt so natural. Our bridal party and family photos went so smooth thanks to Allison's organized way of doing things. During our reception, she even had a slideshow preview of our first look photos displayed on an iPad. It was unbelievable, we (and all of our guests) absolutely LOVED it. I would 100% recommend Allison McCafferty Photography and will definitely be using her in the future! She goes above and beyond and she far exceeded my expectations in every way! Allison was amazing. I knew from our initial meeting that I wanted her to work with us for our wedding at the Water Club in Atlantic City on 11/12/16. The package we chose included an engagement session and 10 hours of coverage on our wedding day with Allison and a second photographer. We had so much fun at our Engagment session in Philadelphia. We received so many compliments from family and friends on the photographs. On our wedding day, Allison and her second photographer Kelli were amazing throughout the whole day. We loved the pictures on the beach in Ocean City. Our package included an online gallery and printing rights. We were so excited to get a preview of some pictures while on our honeymoon. Our family and friends were impressed and absolutely loved the photos. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Allison in a heartbeat. Our engagement session was a great opportunity to get comfortable working together before our wedding day, and of course our pictures came out perfectly. Allison was my photographer for my June 2015 wedding. From start to finish, she was professional. I would email her frequently prior to the wedding and she was always prompt in responding. Allison was everything we could have imagined! I truly felt like she had everything under control being by my side on my wedding day.
